FILLINGS, INLAYS AND ONLAYS

Caries is caused by bacteria that use plaque and food (especially sugar) to produce acids. These acids first dissolve the enamel and later the dentin, creating a "hole" in the tooth. If the defect is larger, inlays and onlays will fill the gap functionally and aesthetically.
